Tumelo T Phaka
Tumelo T Phaka is a bestselling author, motivational speaker and mental health advocate from Setlagole Village in North West. He writes and speaks about the mental health that men are taught to hide, turning silence into language and language into healing.
Raised in a rural village, Tumelo overcame many obstacles and distilled his lessons into his first book, Black Wolf in a Village, which he took on a radio tour that included Motsweding FM. His bestseller It Hurts to Be a Man explores the pressures men carry in silence, and The Tears of Broken Men (The Untold Stories) shares real stories of men who battled suicidal thoughts and survived.
Alongside his writing, Tumelo works as an industrial IT specialist in the mining industry.
