Hector Seopela Maoto was born and bred in Thabampshe Ga-Masemola (Ga-Sekhukhune, Limpopo). After completion of his matric he registered BSc Medical Sciences with the University of Limpopo and for financial reasons he later on dropped out to pursue a career in nursing with Limpopo College Of Nursing in association with University of Limpopo. After he graduated was deployed by the department of health Limpopo in Waterburg region as a community service professional nurse and accountant.

 He is an active member of Faculty of Best Advisory. He is a writer, essayist, storyteller and authored the book If They Can Do It. He is a motivational speaker and activist. Currently studying Bachelor of Pharmacy at Tshwane University of Technology in association with Sefako Makgatho Health Science University.


 Originally from Matatiele, in rural Eastern Cape. Tieho, a lover of literature and humanity, joined Club Readership at its inception in 2016. He says he discovered that the only thing he can find solace in, was reading books and other sources. Since then he has committed himself to encourage others, particularly young blacks, to make reading a habit.

Tieho Hans is pursuing studies in Prostate Graduate Certificate in Education at the University of South Africa, and is devoted to the course of change in his community which is why he joined Faculty of Best Advisory (FBA) in 2013, an organisation that aims to inform, uplift and empower the lives of young people from townships and rural South Africa through provision of information and mentorship, and is now working as Liaison Officer for the organisation.

Tieho Hans obtained a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the University of Johannesburg in 2014 and is pursuing his B-tech degree in Electrical Engineering in the same institution.

When Tieho is not at his daily job, as a Junior Electrical Technician, he spends his time reading on current affairs and other social issues in contemporary South Africa and the World at large, he also spends time with his peers from FBA debating and sharing thoughts on the status, which is what he loves most about his circles and says his favourite quote is by Thomas Sankara which says 'I want people to remember me as someone whose life has been helpful to humanity'.


Khudani Nekhwevha was born and raised from Tshisaulu (Venda, Limpopo). He holds a Honours Degree (Molecular Genetics) from University of Witwatersrand, obtained in 2015. Currently, he is pursuing MSc in Internal Medicine at the very same university. Apart from the above mentioned activities, he writes poems and performs his duty of being a Secretary for Youth of Peace society at University of Witwatersrand. He is also an aspiring author and his favourite quote is as thus, "Love is a beautiful phenomenon, enjoy it" -Khudani Nekhwevha. 


 Mafule is a Geography and Environmental Studies Masters student at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. He is also the 2016 ASRI Future Leaders Fellow, the founder and President of Seetja Holdings (Pty) Ltd. He is serving as the Ambassador of Club Readership, an author of two books; ”A Learner’s Guide To Academic Success, and Katrina and Other Untold Stories." He is a career and educational advisor, environmental scientist, mentor, motivational speaker, and programme director among other things. Mafule is the founding executive member of the FBA.
